How Does Physiotherapy Work?

Through careful assessment of your movement and function, your physiotherapist may identify the underlying cause of your concern and create a personalised treatment plan to suit your goals and lifestyle.

Your treatment plan may include:

Manual Therapy

Gently manipulating your muscles may help relieve pain and improve mobility.

Exercise Programs

A personalised exercise programme designed around your needs may help you work toward greater strength and flexibility.

Shockwave Therapy

shockwave therapy uses high-energy sound waves that may help stimulate tissue and support the recovery process.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

By directing sound waves at the affected area, therapeutic ultrasound may help support the recovery process and assist in reducing inflammation.

Dry Needling

Dry needling uses fine needles applied to targeted muscle points in an effort to release tight muscles and reduce pain.

Clinical Reformer Pilates

Clinical reformer pilates may assist in improving movement patterns and supporting your long-term recovery journey.

Pain doesn’t have to get in the way of living well.

Contact our physiotherapy team today and we’ll help you explore your options and look for a path forward.
