Our Approach at DX Physio

At DX Physio, we run a physio-led, goal-driven Reformer Pilates program designed to deliver real, measurable results.

This is not a general fitness class.

Our program is built to help you:

Reduce and manage pain
Restore confidence in movement
Build lean muscle mass and strength
Improve body composition and metabolic healthnce
Exercise safely, even with complex or long-term conditions

Every client is guided by a registered physiotherapist, with programs tailored to your body, history, and goals.

Measuring What Actually Matters — InBody

We don’t guess progress. We measure it.

As part of our program, we use InBody body composition analysis as an objective outcome measure to track: it.

Muscle mass
Body fat percentage
Visceral fat level
Segmental strength balance
Metabolic health indicators

This allows us to:

Track progress beyond the scale
Set realistic, personalised goals
Adjust your program based on real data
Ensure weight or fat loss does not come at the cost of muscle loss

Who This Program Is Designed For

Our Physio-Led Reformer Pilates is ideal for people who need more than a standard class, including those with:

Sports injuries requiring long-term rehabilitation
Chronic pain or recurring injuries
Pelvic floor dysfunction, leakage, or prolapse
Postpartum recovery, including abdominal separation and core weakness
Peri-menopause & menopause, especially muscle loss and metabolic changes
Weight management concerns, where preserving muscle is critical
Chronic medical conditions, managed in collaboration with GPs and dietitians

We work closely with other health professionals to ensure your program is safe, sustainable, and clinically appropriate.

Real Results, Real Patients

We regularly see meaningful improvements in:

Pain reduction
Strength and confidence
Postural control and pelvic stability
Muscle gain with fat reduction
Return to sport, work, and daily activities

This program is designed for long-term change, not short-term fixes.

FAQs about Clinical Reformer Pilates

Absolutely! At DX Physio, we offer Reformer Level 1 classes specifically designed for beginners. These sessions focus on foundational movement, core activation, breathing, and building body awareness. You’ll learn at a comfortable pace in a supportive environment. Our team will guide you through each step — no experience needed.
Comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely is best — think leggings, a fitted top, and grip socks (required for hygiene and safety on the reformer). Avoid clothing with zippers or bulky seams.
You can book directly online via MindBody, where you’ll find options for 1-on-1 sessions, small group classes, and our beginner-friendly Reformer Level 1. Not sure where to start? Book a FREE 10-minute consultation to chat with our physio team before joining.
We highly recommend all new clients start with a 1-on-1 physiotherapy
assessment, especially if you’re recovering from an injury, pregnant/postpartum, or
have any specific conditions. This allows us to design a safe, individualised program
for you.

However, if you’ve had previous Reformer Pilates experience and are injury-free,
you’re welcome to book directly into a class via MindBody.

We still encourage you to give us a quick call first — we’d love to chat,
understand your background, and help you choose the most suitable class level (e.g.
Level 1 for beginners).
